Seeing as you are an 04...I would try to find the problem soon, listen for it a lot...you are still under warrenty

are you saying all these rattles are new since you heard the pop?

Nah it's always rattled with the top up under VTEC... I thought all S2000s did that. When I say rattle I mean VERY slight vibration... I'm being really anal about that. It's worse since I installed the K&N intake. Every AP1 S2000 I've driven has this way worse than my car (even stock ones). I just figured it was a VTEC trait.

It seems to be fine now... but I'm closely watching it because it still has a lot of warranty time left!
