Default Basic questions about turbo's

I'm not new to turbo's, but i am pretty uninformed. I've searched the pages, but would like some clear answers to a few questions. I personally don't see the purpose of a SC on our engines since it only helps in the higher RPM range, so turbo is the only way i would go. First, are there any turbo's kits for our car designed aroud a crank hp of 315-320. What if we don't want the extra wear and tear that the extra boost adds, do we have options? Also, whats the best way to control a turbo?? I here about a new greddy system, how good is it? FMU and a VAFC? others??? AEM?? I'd ask more questions about reliability, tuning, etc, but i'll find those on my own. Thnx,

Brandon

Oh, one other question. Assuming the turbo is properly tuned, what are the first parts in jeapordy of failing. The differential is already going to be beefed up, replaced with 4.44gears, and cryotreated, so it "should" be a non-issue. What parts of the engine should be beefed up when adding a turbo, as the engine wasn't designed from the factory to take the extra pouding? Thnx,

Brandon

Turbo is the way to go. I'm going to turbo everything and anything I can get my hands on. Me and my bro are looking to twin turbo something with his stock RX7 turbos but ill save that for another post.

The Ultimate Racing (www.Ultimate-Racing.com) kit is pretty good, so I hear. And I stopped by their shop and was pretty impressed. Their kit brings the HP very close to 300HP to the wheels with close to 200 lbs of torque.

Their kit also comes with a piggy back (Greddy E-Manage) already programed so all the F/A is already tweaked. The kit runs about 6psi if i can remember.

Your going to get the usally wear and tear from a turbo. Carbon build up and blah blah but it shouldnt really destroy the engine.

Thats about it. If i am wrong about anything someone please tell me. Hope this was helpful
