before my brain throws a rod

I've always called it a spark plug "boot" and/or "sleeve". The rubber shaft that slips over the spark plug.... I'm trying to order a new one and can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know the "technical" term??

uh I think he is.. maybe.... it's a coilpack. well that's what slides into the head over the spark plugs in an S2000 anyway. how did you break one of those?

I figured it out. Its called an "ignition coil". One of mine had a tear in the rubber up top and I had oil leaking down into the sparkplug.

so, are we talking about the same thing? the long black tube that goes down into the head over the spark plug??
