Is doing a compression test with the S having been left overnight and then warmed up for 5 minutes the optimal time to do a test ?

And, is it ok to drive it normally for an hour and then test?

 

Car should be warmed up anyways so youll be fine driving around then testing it. Either way by the time you removed the spark plug cover and the plugs and the fuse and all that stuff the engine shouldnt be as hot.
