Default Bizarre behavior

I have a very odd problem with my 01 S2000 that has been going on for two years now. This only happens in my garage - when trying to start the car, sometimes it starts sometimes not. Doesn't matter whether the engine is cold or hot. Engine will turn over fine, but not start. Never know when it's going to happen, sometimes it starts fine or not at all. Usually if I have been driving the car, and turned it off and restarted numorous times with no problem, I can pull in my garage and come back 10 min later and not start?!?!?!?! Took it to a Honda specialist and they tried starting for a week with no problem. Only happens in my garage!!! Bizarre or what?!?!?! I can usually jump it and it will start. Have replaced the battery with a a higher amp one than Honda offers and no change to problem. There are no idiot lights on.

Anyone ever seen such a weird phenomenum??? Vapor lock???

Please help!!!

If it turns over fine, it has nothing to do with the battery. Try using the other key for awhile and see if it still happens. How much crap is on your keyring? Try it with JUST the key and see what happens. I hear that there can be interference from these wireless debit card things like they use at gas stations.

Do you hear the fuel pump when it won't start? I'll bet the dealer didn't have a full keyring did he? Valet key maybe?

You need to find out what's missing when it won't start, fuel, spark or compression. It's likely either fuel or spark is missing.
