Blown window

Default Blown window

the wire inside the door that moves the window up and down snaped... now my window is stuck and cannot be put up. Is this goning to be hard to fix... seems hard after removing the trim,


Driver side window... need this fix Asap because i hate driving the truck.


easy DIY or need mechanic?

so the wire just needs to be re-connected? better than having to replace an actuator. i've replaced a window on my first car (1988 chevy nova) but it was a hand crank, it was pretty simple. if it was more than just the wire i couldn't imagine swapping out the parts to be that difficult, i'd say DIY...

yes some how wire snaped. its looks hard to get into tho. removing the trim was easy but getting inside to the wire looks hard.

You need a window regulator, you won't be putting the cable back together.

I have been slacking also with fixing it. Its just the worst time for me with funds and $200 for a regulator is steep for me at this time. I just ghetto rigged it so my window stays up!

hey thanks,, just took apart my regulators... those set hes selling are MY04.

will they fit on 03? or ap1?
