Default body damage advice

i gots no luck!! back in february sitting at an intersection about a mile away from my house some old battle-ax in her Excursion decided to put her heap into reverse and ruin my front bumper... well last wednesday at THE SAME INTERSECTION i was rear ended by a guy from out of town. his foot slipped off the brake and he hit me at like 5mph...(although it seemed like 20mph)... anyway, i have two creases in my ass end on either side of the license plate...

my question for the all knowledgable forum is can i remove the rear bumper skin, heat up the creases w/ a heat gun and GENTLY push them back out? i dont want to paint the damn rear bumper cos the front bumper doesnt match the rest of the car (or any other Silverstone metallic S that i've seen)... would this be a viable option? pls tell me, "YES!!"

thanks y'all....

Yes you can heat it up with a heat gun, but 1 it will never come out as smooth and 2 if you heat it up to much you may damage the paint and the clear coat.
Best work to do it, see if you can get a used silverstone from someone that is selling theirs or go to a really good paint shop and let them mix the colour for you and prepaint on something till you get it right. And let a body shop finish the rest.

If you try it I would recomend using the heatgun on the inside.....but still its a risky bet!..... heatguns are primarily sold to strip paint

let us know how it turn out- im curious to know if this works

My advice would be just to find a better body/paint shop this time. It's not like you are paying for it, is it?
