Default boot from spark plug plate

One of the bolts on the spark plug plate is all rounded and can't get it out. I have tried a bigger size torx tool and allen. Nothing.... do you guys recommend anything to get it out????

dremel notches and use a big flathead?

That is a 9 lb-ft bolt. I'm not sure why it rounded off.

Many (most?) folks pay no attention at all to torque requirements and don't even own a torque wrench.

Try using a Torx (sic) bit. <------ That's a link!

Buy new bolts. Tighten to proper torque.

They have these drill bit screw remover tools. Its a hardened bit, with a tip that has a tapered, reverse thread. Its made to bite into a stripped philips screw head. Would probably work well for stripped allen or torx as well.

Its about the size and shape of a philips drill driver bit, except as mentioned, its got a tapered cone shaped head, with these really small reverse screw threads.

So as you drive it in loosen direction with drill, it bites into stripped head. The more you push, and loosen, the more it bites.

Can get from Home Despot, etc.

I tried that method showed on the video, but no cigar... also, went to home depot to buy the "speed out" removal kit and the same.... no luck. I guess I will have to take it to a mechanic that can remove it for me.....
