I recently started tracking my car and I upgraded the braking system with the following mods:
-Motul RBF600 (in brake and clutch system, flushed them thoroughly of course)
-CarboTech xp10s in front and xp8 in the rear
-Stoptech Stainless lines front and rear
-Stoptech front and rear rotors
-No leaks whatsoever
-Fluid level is well within specs

Car brakes and feels fine (brakes are loud as hell though!) and my BRAKE light just comes and goes. Most of the time it comes on for a split second between shifts. Today it came on after I had stopped and stayed on, then went away after a few seconds until just before I accelerated.

I recently had a new alternator installed and my battery light came on the first time my BRAKE light came on as well. Please help me get to the bottom of this. Thanks in advance.

 

Anyone have any suggestions?
Could the Motul fluid just need more heat before performing correctly?

 

Not saying this IS the cause in your case, but only what had happened to me. I had a similar experience in a previous car I had. It turned out that the wire/sensor at the brake reservoir had a bad connection. Reseated wire/sensor and all was well.
