My brake warning light came on. Since the sending unit is part of the master cylinder, do I have to replace the master cylinder?

 

On the Non-DBW cars this sensor is nothing more then a switch. When your fluid is low, it turns on. Also the ebake is wired to the same light. So this could be a case of a grounded connection under the center console.
