Default Breather filter

I know many are running breather filters.

All I can find in ~1/2" flange (front valve cover) is K&N part 62-1340.
But it seems it doesn't have enough neck.

Please post up what other options you have found.

I just see them as one more filter to keep clean. The stock configuration just uses the main intake filter.

I just bought the cheap one they had at the autoparts store. It came with the small section of hose and a clamp. It was a PIA to get on the valve cover but I don't think it will come off too easy.

A better question:

Is it ok to run both outputs of the valve cover to one catch can?

The breather needs to be to atmosphere, and the pcv to vacuum, so not really. You could run them both to a vented can, but you'll be defeating the PCV system. It's neither bad or good, depending on what you want, but that's what it will do.

PCV is just for emissions right?

Yes running to vented can with FI.

I think I'll just run both to it rather than adding a breather on the front of the valve cover itself.
