Default Brief grinding noise after start up?

When I start my car after it has been sitting for a day or two, it starts, then there's a brief grinding noise for a second or so (immediately after start, not while cranking). It usually doesn't happen if I start it later that day. What could be the possible causes of the issue?
Thanks?
I can link a video if needed.

Starter doesn't pull back fast enough. Mine does it from time to time. I believe Billman and several others have looked into it without any success in a permanent fix. Haven't had any issues yet with mine, and flywheel and starter teeth looked ok both times I changed out clutch.

The bendix pin doesn't retract fully so you get grinding occurring, I think that was more common on ap2's ?.

Common to all s2ks.

Mine has been doing this for quite a while, and is now showing signs that it has had it (the bendix is starting to retract during cranking making a new not-happy noise)

Billman, I've followed all your tutorials (coolant bleed, brake bleed, clutch bleed, TCT install, etc.)... I've been waiting for you to post a fix on this for about 5 years now, gets a little worse every year.

I've been putting it off until you solved it once and for all!!
