Default Broken E brake handle. How to remove?

I purchased a s2000 Renegade parking brake button and when I went to install I turned the wrong way on the e-brake button.

I ordered a new e brake off EBay but can’t find any good videos on removal/install of a new e-brake. Anyone have a good video or detailed steps on how to put the new one in?

No hints in the Service Manual?

You have the installation guide?

I had this happen to me. I don't remember it being that hard. Take off the center console, and you should see one bolt ( i swear I thought it was two but diagram shows only one) holding down the lever to the body. Disconnect the lock pin from the old one as well so you can remove the cable mechanism, and then reinstall in reverse order. Make sure to chock the tires in both front and reverse directions, as you'll probably be working with the parking brake disengaged, and the shifter will probably be in neutral so you can take off the center console.

Great advice, re: chocking the wheels (the front and back of at least one tire).
