If I wanted to monitor oil temp in the transmission could I get an adapter bushing to replace the drain plug and stick the sensor there? If that'll work, what about putting a switch in the signal wire at the gauge and switching between engine and trans (or even diff too with a 3 way)? I don't really have a need to monitor all the temps but I'm an information junky and curious

Anyone know the thread pitch for the trans drain?
