Hi i have 2000 s2000 that got the buzzing noise while decelerating 3rd gear around 4000 and 3000 rmp it got 62000 miles
i will like to find out what is the correct way to fix the problem and if leave it what are the pros and cons

does the noise get more frequent(higher pitch) as the revs go down, and then goes away when you clutch in. I get this noise only in third gear very rarely after driving hard for a few seconds (after cruising)then as soon as i change gears it vanishes. Its weird cause I can work the car hard the entire week at the dragon and never hear it once.

 

any update on this? i just figured that i have the same thing as well
