I mentioned this in another thread... but I'll repeat it here since it seems so relevent...

paying $70 for that belt from ProAutosport in absurd. Go to Pep Boys and get one for $17. Any 45.0" 6-rib belt will do. Dayco 450K6 for example.

cheers,

I agree that $70 is a lot for an accessory belt, however, this is a critical engine component and is subject to stress and wear. Pro Autosports has decided to offer the highest quality belt available for a high quality car that we all cherish. I'm sure one could find a replacement belt for a lower price, but at the sacrifice of quality? The belt from Pro Autosports if manufactured by an OEM supplier that makes belts for Honda and Acura, therefore has the same reliability as a factory Honda belt. It should not have to be replaced until approximately 100,000 miles of use. It is also comparably priced to a stock replacement Honda accessory belt.

Cheers

it will bypass your a/c compressor and might free some horsepower up but your a/c wont work.

I tried a 450K6 belt and this caused the belt tensioner to be indexed past the indicated specification as suggested by than manual (too tight). The tensioner was almost maxed out, in fact. I will look for a 45.5" length belt and give that a try.
