Cam sensor failure
if you get a manual you can check the continuity between the plug and the ecu for the wires at the connector and the particular pins the corispond with at the ecu. ground, power, signal , or something like that. if you want to check what the connector should have.

I am having the same problem, after I did valve adjustment on MY'04, happened the very next day after adjustment.
CEL would come on and RPM would drop over 3~4k like it was out of gas, and then bucking like crazy if I didn't let go the gas pedal.
I never had a chance to check CEL while I had that condition, cause CEL goes away after a bit, but the other day I did, got a P0344(CMP sensor bank a) and P0420 (could be Berk HFC and aftermarket O2).
So, I unplugged the Cam sensor on intake side and sprayed electrical cleaner on both male and female connectors.
Plugged it back in, but noticed connection was loose after doing a push-pull. This sensor connection is actually pretty difficult to properly seat.
There is a small stand-off on the the connector that is on the valve cover. Make sure that you get a loud "click", which means you engaged that little stand-off. Took me about 5 minutes to get it in, cause it's kinda awkward location, all the way in back of engine.

Hopefully it was just that connection. Will see if problem goes away.
