At 58k, I'm still burning oil too. I go through 3/4 of a quart every 3k miles. I still keep an eye on it at every fillup.

I think a quart every 3000 or so is normal, especially if you run it hard. i.e. vtec-ing a lot. If the car's not using any oil what so ever, then oil's probably not getting to places that it's supposed to.
Also bear in mind oil consumption will also be based on viscosity of the oil your using. My car use to go through 5W-30 a lot more than 10W-30 (which is what I'm using now)

I still burn oil at 72,000 miles. I did notice that it uses more 5-30 than 10-30 though.

I went back to 10-30 after 3000 miles using 5-30

According to my dealer, one quart between oil changes is normal.

i'm at 8k miles and i had to add half qt. i guess my miles haven't caught up to you all yet. from what i hear at the shops, this is totally normal. keep a qt (in a bag!!!) in the trunk! =)
