Car dies when giving it gas at idle when hot?
Having a strange issue that has me stumped. Its a 2005 turbo running aem ems with ID1000's and SOS map sensor. Once warmed up on hot days it will decide to die when I hit the throttle to take off from a stop. Only some times. Today it did it really bad to the point where I couldn't go anywhere until I turned the key off and back on, then was ok until I got home. Usually it will do it once, die and then I start it up and its good for a few more lights.
I am thinking TPS maybe?? Anyone have any ideas???
Thanks in advance!

Can you check you fuel map to see if it is reducing too much fuel at a certain coolant temp or air temp? Also, check your fuel map to make sure you have enough fuel or too much in the lower cells. Did you data log any of this?
If you think it might be the TPS can you reset your TPS sensor values in your EMS software?
I'm not familiar with AEM EMS. Hopefully, other FI AEM EMS guys will chime in on this.

Thanks for the reply. I have not dataloged due to not having a laptop currently...
I did reset my throttle endpoints but have not driven it since. Tomorrow will be the test on my commute. I will update here... Fuel map does look fine though
