I have a real quick question for anyone that may know the answer to this. Lately my car has been shutting off on me when I come to a stop. It happens when I push my clutch in to come to a stop, the rpms just drop and the car shuts off. Some times it idles for a second or two at around 200 rpm then shuts off. Not sure what is happening. Thank you for any help or advice you can give me.

 

have you recently clear a check engine light?

 

Battery? Do you have problems starting the car?

 

i dont have any trouble starting the car. It fires right up and doesnt die when running. It only dies when I am up in the mid to high rpms and then push in the clutch when coming to a stop and let the rpms drop down. They drop all the way down and then shut the car off.
As for my check engine light, I have not cleared one lately. I have had the check engine light come on a few times but it tends to go away on its own after a day or two. Not sure what it is coming on for.

 

the code is still store in the ecm. get a scantool and look it up.
