CEL and K&N FIPK
So I installed an FIPK on my S about a week ago, and since put on about 350 miles on it. Everything was fine, until Friday night I received a check engine light. I decided that maybe it was probably due to the fact that I never reset the ECU after I installed the intake. Anyways I reset it last night, and it came back on after only 18 miles. No rough idle, no knocking, I haven't really noticed anything different with the car just the light. I'll probably stop by Autozone tomorrow afternoon to have it checked but wanted to post pictures of the installation just to make sure it looks right. Most of the installation instructions on here don't have very detailed pictures in terms of the routing of the hoses (although if this was a problem I think the CEL would have come on a bit earlier). This is an K&N FIPK 2 kit, on a 2000 S2000.

Would this be the right routing (even with the K&N in)? Also do I need the check valve to still be there?

EDIT:
Alright figured out the first part according to the description. I rerouted to resemble his above (one of my hoses wasn't plugged in at all as well - go figure). Anyways I have two hoses left and I'm a bit confused as to where exactly they go. The description isn't as clear to me on these:
From there, it goes into this little valve assembly (note which hose goes in and which hose goes out). The one from the cannister in the previous pic goes into the "right angle" fitting that comes out the END of the valve assembly. The other "straight" fitting (closest to my thumb) then goes back up to the "bottom" line in the first pic. Also take note of the wiring harness that is connected to this assembly. It must be plugged in and it must be plugged in securely.

i c what your problem is. the little meth inj pump is not supposed to hooked up like that at all, i kinda of had a similar problem but i just had 2 vacc lines hooked up backwards cause the directions where un clear. both of those vaccum lines should not be going to the meth pump or from the meth pump...the only way i can show you is by taking pictues. ill get some up tomororw as soon as i can or later today when it stops raining.
Meth Inj pump? Huh?
Anyways I rerouted the lines, this is how they look now:

(You can click on each of the pictures and then the magnifying glass on the top right corner to zoom in)
The top line from around the intake manifold goes into the check valve and then into the bottom canister thing (to the left side of it). It exits from the other side into the top slot on the air control valve. The bottom line from (around) the intake manifold goes to the bottom line on the air control valve.
Is this correct?
Thanks again for any input!

Alright so after some further reading, I switched the lines once more. I think this is what the S2KCA write up meant.
I labeled them as well.
Line A in the pictures is the line going from top nibble on the intake manifold to the check valve and then to the left side of the canister (looking from the front of the car).
Line B is the line that goes from the bottom nibble of the intake manifold to top nibble on the air control valve.
Line C goes from the canister (right side looking from the front of the car) to the bottom nibble (also could be called the right angle or L shaped nibble) on the air control valve.

Went to Autozone to get the check engine light checked out just to be sure it wasn't anything else. It was P0411 (Secondary Air Injection Incorrect Flow) as I had expected. Had it wiped. Hasn't come back on yet but I've only driven like 15 miles since.
I'd still like to know if my lines are setup the right way now.
Thanks!
