You probably have the little white check valve oriented wrong. Look at x vipers tutorial for more detailed instructions.

 

Could one of those tiny little hoses cause a CEL? Will that affect the idle at all? I did find one unhooked. I had a CEL for something about a secondary air flow too. If this was all it was, I got worked up over nothing. I did also reset my ECU after reconecting that hose. Thank you so much for using the pictures. it helped alot, the hose was so small I guess I easily just overlooked it.
