Check Engine Light
First, you should have received an odometer statement with the car which told you it's true miles or let you know that true miles were unknown due to tampering, etc. If you did not receive the statement, or if the statement was false, you may have grounds for some sort of legal action.
Second, my S2K has a simillar idle problem and is in the shop right now for repair. I checked the CEL code and found that the ECU was complaining about the Idle Air Control valve (IAC), which is used to allow the computer to bypass air around the throttle plate to control idle speed. I only took the car to the shop today, so I have no confirmation that this is the broken part, but I'll let you know as soon as I find out. This may help you isolate your problem.

Hey guys, just got home and i just used the paperclip trick to run the code. It came out as one long, and 4 shorts.
So basically 1 - 4. According to that site provided by modifry, the code is for a "Idle Air Control Valve".
HAHA what are the odds. I guess matt and i are in the same boat.
Hopefully i can get this fixed soon. NEED A CAR TO DRIVE AROUND!
