Check engine light
Ok i read all kinds of stuff on this and i know this is prolly a beat up suibject but i'm sorry. I have had my s2k for less than 3 weeks i still have a damn temp tag on for god sakes! so the other day i had the check engine light come on i took it to discount and i got code p9133 ( random misfire) and p0301 (i think that was it) whatever the one for Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected. So i went and replaced the 4 spark plugs and one cell pack. rest the code and let it idle for about 5 min and the code came back. This time it only read random misfire so since i'm new to the whole rear wheel drive thing i though i might have put it in the Cylinder 4 instead of cylinder 1. So i switch it code comes back. Anyways to make a long story short i wasn't leaving it at discount so i drove it home while driving the check light went away...... So i let it idle at the house and it came back so i turned off the car.
the light is on now though....
Now i did put some sea foam in the car.
One other question is it common for the check engine light to blink at a stand still and become solid when driven?
Any help will be much appreciated
Thank you
Chris

If im not mistaken. (this happens quite often BTW)
a Blinking CEL = Bad
A CEL ON -> Then Blinks 2-3 Times -> Then Remains on is the CEL telling you it has read an additional code.
as for you specific problem.........could be bent valves. At least that's the problem with the one a few Threads down.....
