Default check engine light ... help

Got in my car this morning and a check engine light came up
The code is P1457
Any idea what could cause it to come up ?
I just tightened the gas cap and started the car up and the light is still on , how many cycles does it take to clear if that was the problem ?

Is this an AP1? If so there were some issues with the filler neck, you need to grip the outside of the cap and turn to ensure it's tight. The light should go off after a few rides.

If I don't turn the outside of the cap on my car properly then I will get a code.

P1457 has nothing to do with the gas cap.

Find my P1457 DIY, and you'll be good to go.
