Default Clearing a code

Is there any way to clear a check engine code on a MY06(due to the fact that the car is a CAN protocal car) without taking the car to the dealer. My scan tool read the code and we have since fixed the problem, just need to know if I can save a little time by not having to take the car to the dealer.

remove the ecu back up fuse or remove the negative battery terminal for about 10 minutes

I know this is a stupid question, but I have to ask it any way. By removing the ECU backup fuse that won't delete the Hondata reflash will it?
