Default cluch problems? or tranny?

through every gear i have resistance and almost have to force my car into gear. once its in gear it starts to shake and kind of feel like its going to die while trying to accel. i took it to honda and they told me it was the cluch but ive had many clutch replacements in my time but never one with these symptoms. any help would be awesome plz.

If it effects all gears i would have pointed my finger at the clutch too.. if it effects just certain gears i would say trans, Im assuming Honda checked the trans fluid as well..

ya the guy i talked to stated that it wasn't disengaging which was causing problems trying to put it into gear and take it out of gear...

make since to anyone? he kind of acted like he didnt know what he was talking about .. and i dont want to spend 1200 dollars on a new clutch if it is not for sure the problem. and yes they did inspect the fluid.
