Default Clutch and brake problems?

Hey everyone, I have a 2003 s2k with about 82,000 on it. I'm having a few issues that I just can't figure out. First issue is my brakes, I replaced the brake pads when I first got the car at 66k miles. Ended up replacing the fluid a few months ago. The issue I'm experiencing is that when I depress the brake pedal, it's quite soft and doesn't really firm up until I depress the brake about half of the pedal distance while driving. When the car is off though, it's nice and firm at the top. I've noticed this the last few days during some 100+F days, so I was thinking that the heat could be the culprit, but part of me is saying that I must of screwed up when changing my brake fluid after changing the pads out and let air into the system, what do y'all think?

Second issue is my clutch, and I think I've figured it out myself, not totally sure though. I'm noticing that the engagement point for my clutch is about the same, but it doesn't feel as precise. Like the whole area around where the clutch fully engages feels smoothed and just not precise generally. I thought that my clutch could be going out but I haven't noticed it slipping at all. I even threw the car in 4th going about 25mph and floored it and the car just slowly started to go, no slipping at all. Even when I romp on it redlining first and second, I'm not experiencing any slippage. I changed out the clutch fluid when I changed the brake fluid and I'm thinking that I may of let some air into the system there as well, but I don't know if air in the lines could of been the issue here. What I did find though, I looked under my dash where the clutch and brake pedals are, and found some liquid and black ooz almost coming out from where the pedal connects to the clutch slave cylinder (I think), I've taken a photo of the area I'm referring to. I'm not seeing any leaks in the engine bay side of the firewall near the slave cylinder. Could this be the source of this issue? Or maybe it's both this and the clutch?

Looks like you need a new clutch master cylinder.

Try re-bleeding the brake line --- for those braking issues.
