Clutch clunk in reverse
I've started to notice a "clunk" sound when
pushing in the clutch when driving in reverse.
I haven't noticed the sound in any forward
gears.
Anyone else experiencing this? Is this normal?

If you get a clunk or click while in reverse, after backing up and then hitting the brake (which usually comes around the time you disengage the clutch), that is the rear brake pads shifting a bit. Nothing to worry about. Usually only happens to me first thing in the morning when the car is cold, so once the pads heat up apparently whatever clearance there is goes away.

If it happens only in 1st or reverse when you release the clutch and the car takes up drive and you can repeat it every time, then you may find it is to do with the CV joint cup. There are loads of posts if this is the case. Do a search on 'clunk' or 'drive' and you'll see what I mean.
Mine is going in next week for some stuff to be done and the technician is also going to look at this for me.

I get the clunk when putting in 1st gear.
It's very similar to putting a motorcycle in 1st gear from neutral...but don't know why the s2k is like that...
Shifting to 4th gear (without letting out the clutch) before shifting to reverse will take away the clunk. If that's the 'clunk' or grind like sound, some of you are talking about.
