Sure, if you're mechanically minded.

You have to flush the system afterwards though.

mine went a couple of weeks ago ... I had it replaced and they said it's not the first time they've done it mine was the 4th one from dealership

Same thing on mine, What part of your warranty were you on? 35000 or the extended?
