clutch pedal adjustment?

Default clutch pedal adjustment?

do our cars have clutch pedal adjustments! and if so how hard is to do or where could i get instrutions to do it? - tommy

Do a search!

A majority of the time the clutch does not need adjustment. Try bleeding the system first. Not adjusting the clutch pedal correct may lead to premature wear.

Look behind your clutch pedal for the rod that goes into the firewall. The part closest to the firewall has a lock nut. Loosen the nut and turn the rod in 1/2 turn increments til the feeling is right.

i just tried to lossen the nut you were talking about and cant get it loose. but on the other hand how do you bleed the clutch system? the search function has not brought me any usfull info

there are two adjustments you can make,

1 is the clutch pedal stop point, and the 2nd is the push rod.

you should really know what you're doing before you adjust either.
