Default Clutch pedal hard to depress

I have started to notice that my clutch pedal gets very hard to press. The engage point has not changed, and there is no noise coming from the pedal. I can feel it change intermittently to where one minute it feels normal then then after a while it gets really hard again. The clutch action is normal, but the force required keeps changing.
The pedal doesn't stick, just hard to press.

What is going on?

Thanks in advance.

Jim

Also bleed your clutch and put in new fluid after you're done removing the nipple and regreasing.
