Poorly lubed TO bearing and release fork contact points can do this. Also, have you ever had the clutch fluid changed? How long has it been in there. Clutch fluid is still just brake fluid, which sucks up water like crazy. This water can rust clutch cylinder internals. This rust can form ridges that can seem like it suddenly acts up. If you have water in the fluid, it can cause a slight change in the cylinder plunger travel past the point where rust may be present.

well im pretty sure it hasnt been changed since it was installed. It has to be changed when a new one is put in id assume. The only wierd thing is when the car sits overnight or hasnt been driven for a while it feels fine until u drive it for a little bit and then it starts to feel like this. kinda like it comes n goes. If it was rusting would it feel rough all the time? Hopefuly a clutch bleed would cure it.

You cannot make this assumption. A clutch job can be done without touching the clutch fluid.

The water in the fluid was just one guess. You have to take note of the other stuff I posted.

Additionally, you must also investigate the possibility that the ball of the slave cylinder plunger where it fits into the socket of the release fork, may both be rusted and corroded. Why it does it when things get hot? What happens when things get hot? They expand. Grease thins out.
I somehow doubt a clutch bleed will be the only answer.

My psychic diagnosis is air in the system. After you use the clutch for a while the air/fluid gets mixed up and make a gravelly pedal feel as the mixed up air bubbles go through small passages.

When you leave it overnight the air separates from the fluid and sits in a corners/bend.

Get the hydraulics pressure bled ( that means with a pressure bleeder attached to the reservoir, rathern than pumping the pedal).

Chris.

Hi Xviper and Chris, thanks for your time in going through my post and
your responses. Xviper Yes I agree I probably did not need the master cylinder or a slave cylinder. Yes I now reckon I've been conned, but not going to happen again.
I've had a independent honda specialist
recomended to me by some of the local guys, I spoke with him
yesterday and am taking my car down for him to inspect.
At least that way he can give me an independent report
and if the dealer has stuffed something up I'll have some chance
of getting some action. If I start messing around they probably just
put the blame back to me. I'll take your comments with me.
Thanks again for your time.
Chris, yes I agree needs to be bled properlyand will have done Saturday
The vibration, well shall wait and see, it may be unrelated to
anything they did.
Cheers
Peter
