Clutch Removal...
Got everything done but ran into a bind. Is the last bolt on the drivers side part of the transmission near the two ground? Also, we can't get the top passenger side one to break loose. I think it might be binding up since we took out the bottom ones first. Should I slide them back in and tighten down to hopefully get the top two off? Was so F'in close to getting it out and swapped and two bolts stand between me and getting it off =/ Any secret tips would be lovely.
They really are a pain. I had my trans on a jack and lowered it to put a little weight on the back side of the engine, not much so you won't bind the other direction, breaker bar is your friend. Use some pb blaster or zep 45
I went all the way around breaking them loose and hand-tightening them up until they were all loose. The trans is a PITA if it's in any bind with the motor. Take your time and you'll do fine. Also don't forget to pull the clutch fork.
