looking good, man. Can't wait to see it together. I just cleared my diffusers this weekend, and I've got to say, I think Honda is single handedly keeping the silicon adhesive industry in business. I came away with almost a single handful and I didn't even clean the grooves, thats just what I knifed out prying that thing open. I hope I never have to do that again. It makes paying two grand for JDM headlights sound like a good idea.......sheesh....

Well, I think the hold up now, is that there is some kind of bracket, or support, that was supposed to come with the OEM front spoiler, but didn't.
On Friday, the manager of the shop said that there was a small blemish on the bottom of the front bumper, so that is being repainted.
As far as I can tell, only the front bumper cover, front spoiler, one fender liner, and hood need to be installed. Even the new bumper plugs have been painted.
I also had them remove the fender and door guards. They came stock with my '02, but I never liked them, or wanted them installed. They were already on when I picked up the new car.
I'm pretty sure it will be out of the shop by the end of this week.
okay, well, I'm going to pick up some flowable silicon this week then..... I don't want water in my lights, and I never, ever want to take them apart again....what a pain.... couldn't they have designed a gasket with sealant instead of gobs of silicon? sheesh.

The stuff I found is made by Permatex, and it is called "Flowable Silicone," and get this- on the box, there is an illustration of a person installing/sealing a taillight lens with it!
I'll post the product number, etc. when I get home tonight. I used 1 1/2 tubes to seal both headlights.
Unfortunately, I ended up coming home empty-handed, because the Coastal Metals Front Spoiler Protector didn't fit properly. As a matter of fact, the fit is so bad, it bent the spoiler out of shape.
The contour is not correct, and the spacers are too short, which pulls the bottom of the spoiler up, and pulls the bumper down.
I called Coastal Metals when I got home, and they will send me another one, which is supposed to fit better, but they won't have it for about 2 weeks!
If I am able to leave this one on the car, I will take pics of the poor fit and post it so you can see what I'm talking about.
I should be picking up the car tomorrow, either with a poor-fitting spoiler protector, or no spoiler protector at all.
I was in such a hurry to get to the shop today, I forgot my camera.
Other than the problem with the spoiler protector, the car is looking amazing!
Even after looking at it in pics, and in person, I still wasn't sure that I would be happy with the headlight treatment. The last time I saw it, the bumper cover was still off, and I couldn't tell how it would look.
When I saw the car today, it was all together, and the headlight treatment popped my eyes right out of my head! It looks really great!!! I'll post pics as soon as I can, hopefully, tomorrow.
