cometic on na engine downgrades

Default cometic on na engine downgrades

I am currently running a cometic on my car and I installed it for boost but cant boost it untill later how much am I suffering for this thank you.

either way they suck for all motor, you are not hurting the motor though.

Yep, I ran the 2mm for a few months, no damage.

But

You will run rich up top, and lose power. a dozen HP or so. I did a dyno, and the tuner said that a typical S2000 ran a few ponies higher on his dyno. and leaner, too.

I'm FI now, tuning took care of AFR.

The ECU should adjust for the richness up top. But I ran on a 3mm for about a month and it ran fine. I wouldn't bother racing it though. If I could have I would have just garaged it but at the time I didn't have another car.

what they said, wont hurt anything, just be done some hp but all will be well when you boost it!

Ya thats what I figured just clarifying lol. Its a 2mm it runs fine idles a smidge low sometimes but I only ran 184whp on the dyno so I figured I was down some hp.
