Default need help replacing softtop vs. motor covers

Ok so I have removed all nuts from the back, the 7 botls from each side. I am trying to do this without removing the plastic from the back. Now I came to dilema. I guess the metal covers for the motor top are giving me issues. I guess I need to remove them before I can yank the top off. Is there a way to do this without completely removing plastic covers from back. I have cusco cage and seems like I would need to remove it to get to the bolts for those covers. Also am I missing any other nuts or bolts that are hidden besides the ones I talked about. Thank you!

I removed my softtop a few months back and IF i remember correctly you do have to remove those If your not sure though Id just remove those rather than risk breaking anything.

Also take pictures when you disassemble everything, It can be tricky trying to remember where everything started at. good luck!

umm that manual is 1 page diagram which doesn't show you anything. I know because I took a look at it and put it away.

I should have documented it but since I was short on time I didn't even try. It took me 3 hours start to finish so those people that said it takes 7-8 hours must have taken 5 hour nap in between!

NSX, congrats on the install. Good job!

After all this trouble, would you do it again or pay for someone to do it?
