Default Compact spare tire question

Got a flat today on my rear tire and put on the compact spare (yes, I put it on the front). I have to make it to school tomorrow which is approximately 20 miles each way. Is that an OK distance to be driving on a spare? There are no major highways so I can keep my speed between 25-40.

Sorry for the newb post but my owners manual is in my grandmothers garage along with my other car literature. I searched too but didn't find a direct answer.

I don't have my manual with me either but I think most compact spares are good for about 50 miles at no more than 50 mph.
BTW, make sure you pump it up to spec as most compact spares lose pressure while waiting to be used. It won't last the prescribed distance if it's lost pressure.

And the specified pressure is rather high - 60 psi if I recall correctly.

Yes, it is 60-psi. I am glad I checked too because it was only at like 20 psi. The ride there and back was fine.
