Compression test and plugs

You only put oil if you get a low number. If it reads higher with oil you have a worn ring.
also, remember that consistency between cylinders is more important than the actual number. the actual number will vary on the amount of times you crank the motor, etc. anything over 20psi between cylinders and you have a problem

Since you've heard these things, why did you ask for help on this forum. Just go ahead and do what you've heard and let it go at that.
I just did my compression test Sat. Warmed up the car and drove it around town for about 15 mins. Came back pulled all the plugs immediately and started the test. Cranked each cylinder 7-8 times and came back with 212 exactly across all 4 cylinders. Oh yeah I did not hold the gas down while I did it. 160 seems low.

wow 212? hmm thats a big difference. I think im going to test it two more times when i get the chance, once with no throttle and the next time wot. You have an 06 so the motor should be the same, i wonder if mileage has anything to do with the numbers i have 69 thousand and my clutch is deffinitely on its way out, but that shouldn't effect compression obviously.
