So I got the new numbers in, I jumped my battery with my truck on so it would have juice and I had someone in the car so my engine doesn't cool down as fast with me running back and forth between the tests, also this time I only checked the cylinders 3 times instead of 4. And I let my engine warm up to 206 F until my fans came on this time instead of 180F.

Starting motor temp: 206F
Ending motor temp: 170F

Cyl1: 215 - 205 - 200 = 206
Cyl2: 200 - 200 - 205 = 201
Cyl3: 195 - 190 - 190 = 191
Cyl4: 210 - 195 - 195 = 200

Averaged up they seem pretty consistent to me because they're only 15psi different but I'm no pro, what do you guys think?

My engine also started making weird noises at times during the tests, it sounded as If air was escaping or something, I took a vid I'll post it shortly I just have to make a YouTube account.

And as for my spark plugs I cleaned them up yesterday before I put them back in and went for a few WOT runs and when I pulled them today same thing, all white except for cyl1, that once was dark black.

What, cylinder was it making the noise on?? Any possibility you were slightly off tdc in #3. They are within 15psi, but if wanted to get anal about it you could do a leak down.

It sounded to me like the noise was coming from cyl1 which would be the one with the oil residue, I placed my hand over them and I'm pretty sure I felt the air coming out of the first cylinder.

here is that video as promised, it sounds like a whistle/air escaping. im not sure if its normal or not since ive never done compression tests before but when I first started testing it it would not make that noise, it started making it when got to about my 3rd cylinder
