Comptech air filter Q

Does anyone know if the Comptech air filter that is supplied with the Comptech CAI is the same as the drop in air filter?

I don't think so. The inlet side of the filter is huge.

It is the same filter.. an adapter is used.

Is the adapter used on the CAI or the drop in?

As I recall the adapter comes with the drop-in to mate it to stock, where the CAI has the same inlet funnel integrated into the pipe.

Just watch out with how much oil you put on the intake. It was a pain in behind because it kept slipping of the clamp.
