Do it yourself - grab a buddy with some tools and or ask some fellow owners in your area to do a tech-day - I have installed two comptech intakes actually three if you include the new one I got with my supercharger that I installed with a buddy!

Seriously, it's not that hard. You can do it yourself if you get a friend to help. Don't pay someone to do something that you can probably do yourself. Read the instructions carefully (though they aren't the best), and just pay attention. You'll be done in no time!

Try and start a Tech Day in your local club forum, that way you can get all the help you need and make some new friends

my airbox doesn't line up with the thing that holds up the hood so i had to take it out. Does anybody have pictures of the mounting points for the airbox and the metal mount piece they used for each mounting point. This would be greatly appreciated because i want to adjust the positioning so i can put back the hood holder upper.

just checking but did you do step #8?

Step #8: Trim prop rod plastic: The prop rod has a plastic end with square corners that need to be ground down, to fit into the lid. Grinding off the two front corners on the plastic flared base will allow the rod to fit into the box lid.
Dude, its not that. Its not even lining up with the airbox. i need some pics or something.

Going to try to realign the box tomorrow. I have to say the Comptech is a pita to install.

Installed Comptech CAI yesterday. The directions are not great but through trial and error, I got it installed.
I could not install all 3 bolts for the CAI box. If I did install all three, the box did not line up correctly. I had to leave the back bolt off. It's still very secure so as long as everything is aligned, I'm good.
It looks mucho
