So the car should start without the ESM???
Yes, it should. When you put on a Comptech, nothing really changes until there is boost. The fuel pressure stays the same till manifold pressure calls for more fuel. For the first 4000 rpm or so, the car should run like NA. In your case, something has gone wrong during the "downgrade".

Sounds like I pulled apart a wire that was poorly connected when I removed the AEM EMS. I have already found one wire, a black wire that appears to got to either the Water temp. gauge, or the boost gauge that was just spliced and twisted together. It wasn't capped, soldered, or wrapped with electrical tape. Just twisted together and shoved back up in there. I cant possibly think of what else it could be?? I mean I haven't done anything to the car to make it act like this, besides the possibility of me accidently distrurbing one of the connections. Its either that or a fuse. I checked the obvious ones like starter, fuel pump etc... But I guess I wont know until I get in there and look for myself. The problem though is that there are so many wires just laying loose by the ECU that its pathetic. Its gonna take a good couple of hours to check each one out, but I guess that Im left with no options. I also will still need to get a new Comptech EMS, since even if I can get it to run, Im not driving it until I get the EMS on the car. Anyway just venting. Thanks again for ur help!!

I believe you have found the reason for why it doesn't run.
