Has anyone put a blowoff vavle on a comptech supercharger? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am running a Tial BOV on my car. If you aren't completely butchering the kit like I did, you can have somebody good with aluminum remove the bung feeds into the BPV, open the hole up and weld in the BOV flange. When you remove the BPV from the neck, you will need to plug that hole. The same machinist could probably machine you a plug that you could clamp in.

is this for sound or function?

 

It was mainly to aid in the logisitics of running an air cleaner in the nose of the car (eliminating the Comptech airbox). Plus, when I added the charge cooler, it made life easier.
