There's a speed sensor wire you have to disconnect. It's behind the plastic panel under the dash on the passenger's side. I can't remember which one though :\ But I'm sure you can find it somewhere on this site.

To clear things up, it is not only the ebrake that prevents you from putting your top up and down.... There is a speed sensor as well, that require your car to be going 0mph as well. This is what you should be more conserned about....

IF you cut this wire you will still have to raise the Ebrake one click in order to raise and lower the top. There is another wire located under the center consol that will allow you to not have to raise the ebrake as well......

Some people have deactivated both sensors, but I would suggust only disconecting the speed sensor wire under the passenger dash. When the ebrake is raised one click it, it wont engage and you can put the top down while rolling....SLOWLY..... then put the ebrake back down. I think having the ebrake needing one click to opperate is a safty gaurd on protecting your top motor. This way if your switch is accidently pressed, the top motor wont be strained if your top is up and locked.....

There is a DIY floating around somewhere.... I think the electronics forum, but it could be else where.... "Top down while Rolling Mod"

under your passenger side pannel. there is a control box thingie....

on the right connector... you cut the white/black wire.... bottom row... i believe it's the second or third one over i forgot which.... thats the speed sensor.. you cut it and tape it up with electrical tape...

this will allow you to put the top up/down while moving... you still have to put the ebrake on.... but not completely.. one click on the ebrake will do.. (as long as the ebrake light shows up on your guage cluster)

i'll post a picture when i get home... so you can have a visual...

p.s. i've put the top up/down at 40mph... (extreme emergency) i wouldn't suggest doing it any faster then 5-10mph regularly....

there is a wire you can cut to disable it checking the ebrake, but then the ebrake light will always be on on the dash

Here's the thread: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=138773

Taking out the speed sensor wire is enough. Like mentioned before, you can just put your ebrake up one click and it won't engage, but it will let you put the top up and down. You can do it safely up to around 25mph. I've put my top up at 30mph before when I was caught in a downpoar, but I wouldn't want to go any faster.
