Hmmm, time to bring this thread back to life.

I have a MY05 and I need to top up my coolant. Do I just use the Type 2 anti-freeze from Honda?

Thanks!

I'd also like to chime in for a question. I just bought my S, so I'm doing all the maintenance items on it, and I was about to do a coolant flush with regular Prestone. Is that a no-no? I know youre not supposed to top off with different fluids, but if I flush it, is it fine? I like saving money in the short term, but I'd also like my cooling system not to fail...
Thanks,
Greg

I took my Prestone back and got some Honda type II and flushed it out today! Just thought I'd let you all know

Well just thought I'd share, I used regular Prestone antifreeze/coolant and about a week after my stock radiator began to fail. Possibly coincidental though since I do have a turbo set up. Using type 2 from now on.

I'm just going to use whatever Honda provides for the S2000 - Type 2.

Yeah, its not much more expensive. The only difference is its not available in concentrate, so youll have to buy 2 jugs.
