coolant bleed valves
2002 S 2000 which has just got to 45k miles so decided i would give it the major service myself as i am now, retired, finished my TR 4 rebuild and got time on my hands plus don't like paying for what i can do myself.
So everything ok until it came to bleeding the coolant system, all the info i have read on this forum and in the W/S manual says open the TOP bleed valve BUT cannot find one on my car!!! Do some years/models not have this top valve, all i have where the manual shows it, is the vacuum pipe from the manifold to the brake booster, the two heater pipes come out of the bulkhead but nothing there to bleed. Found the bleed valve on the manifold ok but the other one????
Any idea,s

The only one you need to use is the one at the corner of the head near the front of the valve cover. There is absolutely no reason to use the one on the coolant line behind the engine.
