Default Coolant Leak!

So i found out where my leak is couple days ago. I was searching and its part of the air conditioner system hoses and pipes. The part im talking about is the hose that connects on top of #10 on the diagram in this link. http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/j...C+HOSES+-+PIPES

I will post pics later as im on a govt comp. but my question is coolant slowly leaks on the threads. can i just unplug it and add thread sealer? or should i drain the cooling system?

I may be off base on this one, but I don't know of any coolant system part that contacts the air conditioner lines in the engine bay. The heating system lines connect to the cooling system but I don't know about any a/c line intermingling.

Are you sure there isn't a leak above that point that drips from above onto that part and ending up on the air conditioner line making it look like a leak is there ?. Otherwise I'll let someone more familiar with things chime in on this. Technically speaking any threaded part of the cooling system could be repaired by thread sealant, but not the A/C system. The A/C lines only have freon in them, the don't mix with coolant.

There should be a heater line that runs just around there that could be leaking down onto that part, it's my best guess.
