Cutch Pedal Pressure
My son-in-law recently bought a used S2000 that had been rebuilt from a car that had experienced a severe front end wreck. Basically everything, including the engine, forward of the cockpit was replaced or rebuilt. When driving his car, side by side with mine and comparing the two (mine is a 2000 model S2000) his car has noticeably much heavier clutch pedal pressure than does mine. My car has never had any clutch work done and has not been raced or otherwise abused. Also, he recently told me that when driving his car on a wet, rainy day he noticed that the clutch pedal pressure lightened up considerably and stayed lighter until the weather dried out a day or so later.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing the condition on his car and what to do about it?

Also, if the release bearing guide wasn't properly greased when the car was re-assembled, you could experience much more effort in the clutch pedal. This will eventually become a squeak and potentially make the clutch very "grabby" and hard to control.
Make sure there is adequate hydraulic fluid in the clutch system and replace it if it's dirty or contaminated.
