Default Cutting dash for gauges

Over this upcoming weekend, I'll be cutting out the dash for gauges with a hole saw. I've looked in the helms manuel and there is apparently a wire harness going across the dash. Problem is, each picture in the manuel shows the wires in a different location.

Where is this wire harness really located? If its somewhere close to the front, I'll take extra precaution not to cut it as I'm sure that wouldn't be good.

Thanks

I would have a hard time running the EGT wire, as its a large wire from the gauge, using the radio door as the mounting spot.

Anyone know where the harness in the dash is?

There is nothing DIRECTLY behind the dash. So cut but dont keep going once you're through. Keep in mind that the dash is held in place by a couple of plastic brackets though so you might hit that but no biggie.

Do your self a favor. Remove the passenger's air bag first. Then you can see behind where you are cutting too. There is a harness back there. In fact there is two behind the dash. Both of them cross the dash completely. They cost well over 800 to replace them both, so if you are cheap (I assume you are because you are DIY, as would I) so look before you cut.
